MAGNUM has the ability to absorb all forms of force and energy at will, from laser beams fired at him or a fast object hitting him to just the rays of the sun, gust of wind or the gravitational force(wich he uses to defy it and fly).
In short he absorbs energy and forces that is present around him.
Once he absorb the energy, he can either release it as an energy blast or he can store it in his body increasing his strength and power like focusing it on his fists to give a powerful energy punch.

Back Story:
Miguel Dela Cruz was an orphan, he was adopted by the government after they found out about his ability.
He was trained and became the first member of the Government Super Hero Security Force.
Because of this, he is treated like a celebrity, appearing on TV shows and Government commercials.
Unfortunately, the growing problem inside the government like corruptions and abuse of power makes him doubt his duty and loyalty.
But no matter what, he will still continue to protect his people.
